Our Focus
Dr. Perugini has been working with little ones and families for over 20 years providing psychological and developmental evaluation and treatment. She is an expert in diagnosing autism. She is also knowledgeable about trauma in children and how that can impact development, coping, and socialization. Dr. Perugini is passionate about helping young children to meet their best potential and highlighting their unique strengths to build relationships and connections.
Dr. Perugini is highly knowledgable about Arizona community supports and resources. She will guide you in connecting with these services and create intervention plans to help you and your child.
Meet Dr. Sharon Perugini
Growing up in the Philippines and Arizona, Dr. Perugini has always valued helping people. She graduated from Arizona State University with her BS and attended La Sierra University for her EdS in school psychology. Dr. Perugini received her PhD in clinical psychology from Loma Linda University and is both a licensed psychologist and a certified school psychologist.
Dr. Perugini completed her psychology internship and a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the University of Southern California’s University Center of Excellence for Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). She has expertise in early childhood mental health and autism spectrum disorders providing assessment and intervention with a focus on strengths and evidence-based practices.
Dr. Perugini is a mom of 2 boys. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
